Founded in 1997 by Human Rights Specialist Diane E. Mason, HR Proactive Inc. specializes in providing comprehensive online resources for human resources professionals, staff trainers, and health and safety officers to help companies comply with their legal responsibilities as employers.

HR Proactive’s health and safety training products meet mandatory legislative requirements to ensure compliance with work-related laws and are updated regularly based on changes to current legislation. We continue to research and build new products on the most current topics keeping our clients up-to-date and "ahead of the curve".

Our line of top-selling Health and Safety training products, in addition to our WHMIS program, include: Supervisor and Worker Health and Safety Awareness training; Young Workers' Safety; Prevent Harassment, Bullying & Violence; Prevent Sexual Harassment; and Accessibility Standards including Customer Service.

All health and safety titles, with the exception of Young Workers’ Safety, are available as comprehensive, interactive online eLearning programs and can be purchased for your workers on a login/password basis and added to your WHMIS portal. Workers can access the programs at their convenience and learn at their own pace. Features include bookmarking and trackability. Our eLearning programs can also be purchased as a SCORM compliant package, hosted on our Learning Management System (LMS) or yours. Alternative training option includes video format with quiz and certificate of completion.

For those employers who would like to offer an in-person training session with their workers, HR Proactive offers “off-the-shelf” training kits complete with a video DVD (other formats available), Leader Guide, Participant Guide, PowerPoint presentation, Quiz and Quiz key, Generic Policy and Certificate of Completion. Supplemental materials are also included in specific training kits.

HR Proactive also provides the following services: third-party investigations in response to an internal complaint(s) of human rights, discrimination or harassment in the workplace; one-to-one sensitivity or remedial training, coaching or counselling for workplace restoration; instructor-led training on respectful workplace (harassment, discrimination and violence); harassment investigation training for those responsible for investigating workplace complaints.
